Do you allow pets?
We do not accept pets.
When is rent due?
Rent is due the 1st of the month. If your rent is not paid by the 4th of the month, you are considered late. In this case, the landlord will charge a late fee of $15 for the first day and an additional $10/day for each day until rent is paid in full.
Can I pay my rent in person?
Yes. You can pay rent at the Wilderness Aware Rafting office located in Johnson Village (on the east side of the Arkansas River bridge). The physical address is 12600 US Highway 24/285, Buena Vista, CO 81211. Please be aware that business hours vary. You can call in advance to see if we are in the office at 719.395.2112.
Can I drop off my rent at the office outside business hours?
Yes. You can slide a check or money order between the two front doors at Wilderness Aware Rafting. Please do not do this with cash.
Can I mail my rent?
Yes. Mail rent to River Rest Mobile Home Park, PO Box 1550, Buena Vista, CO 81211.
Checks or money orders only – do not mail cash.
Do you accept debit or credit cards for rent?
No. We accept checks, money orders, or cash.
Who do I make my check or money order out to?
Checks and money orders need to be made out to River Rest Mobile Home Park. Do not make the the check or money order out to the landlord or managers name.
How do I get mail delivered to me?
The United States Postal Service does not have home delivery in Buena Vista. You will need to open (pay) for a PO Box and notify us of your mailing address. The Post Office is located at 110 Brookdale Ave and is within walking distance of the park. Phone: 719.395.2446
Are utilities included in my rent?
Water, sewer and trash are included in your rent. Gas and electric are not included. If you are staying in the month-to-month term rentals, you will not need to transfer utilities into your name, we will bill you separately and you will pay us directly. Utility bills are due to River Rest Mobile Home Park no later than the 15th of the month. All long-term rentals at River Rest Mobile Home Park require that you place utilities in your name. Can I get cable tv or internet at my rental?
